About the Opportunity

Respected and established family law firm in the Denver metro area, is seeking a Family Law Paralegal to join its Denver Tech Center office. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative, client-focused legal team that values professionalism, attention to detail, and exceptional service.

The ideal candidate will have prior family law experience and enjoy working directly with clients while supporting attorneys through all stages of family law matters.

Key Responsibilities

Case Management & Client Support

  • Assist attorneys with all phases of family law cases from inception through resolution
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing professional and responsive communication
  • Maintain case files, calendars, deadlines, and case management systems

Document Preparation & Discovery

  • Draft correspondence, pleadings, motions, financial disclosures, and other legal documents
  • Assist with discovery requests, responses, and document organization
  • Prepare court filings and ensure compliance with applicable deadlines and procedures

Trial & Hearing Preparation

  • Organize case materials, exhibits, and supporting documentation for hearings, mediations, and trial
  • Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other legal professionals as needed

Administrative Support

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is properly filed and organized
  • Support attorneys with ongoing case management and litigation needs

Qualifications

  • At least 3-4 years of litigation paralegal experience in family law or civil litigation
  • Family law experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience drafting legal pleadings, correspondence, and court filings
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Strong client-service orientation and interpersonal skills
